Members of Melksham and District Flower Arrangement Society have had a busy week hosting an annual open evening and preparing for a themed flower festival this weekend.
The club, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, welcomed about 200 people to Melksham’s Assembly Hall on Tuesday to watch national demonstrator Patricia Dibben at their annual open evening.
The society’s flower festival will take place at St Michael and All Angels Church, Melksham from 10am-5pm tomorrow and on Bank Holiday Monday and from 11.30am-5pm on Sunday.
The theme is Helping Hands and displays will represent organisations such as St John Ambulance and the Royal British Legion.
