Beauty students from Wiltshire College recreated the looks of famous Shakespearean characters during a national make-up competition.
Level 2 beauty students created a variety of unique looks around the theme, with the choice of any play, any character and any genre.
This is the second time that Wiltshire College has entered the competition, which is run by Jane Iredale Skincare, a company which specialises in natural mineral makeup.
Last year, Hayley Candlish from Wiltshire College Chippenham won first prize of £500 worth of make-up and an account with Jane Iredale for the college.
The competition is open to all student make-up artists in the UK.
Once the models are made up, photographs are taken and sent to Jane Iredale for judging.
In Trowbridge, photography students used the exercise to expand their own portfolios for assessments.
Once the judging has taken place, college lecturers will be notified if any Trowbridge students have qualified for the London final where they will be required to recreate the same make-up look.
Lecturer in beauty therapy, Sandra Woodruff said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for each student to be able to develop and express the skills they’ve learned here at college.
“It also gives them the chance to demonstrate their ability and is excellent for their CV and Continual Professional Development.”
