Yatton Keynell stalwart Roy Sedgman died suddenly on May 6. Mr Sedgman, 70, of Clarks Leaze, was found dead in a bonfire on land behind the Bell Inn pub.
Great-grandfather of two Mr Sedgman had lived in the village for 15 years after moving there from Stanton St Quintin.
He was a dairy herdsman for nearly 30 years after moving to the county from Devon, where he was born.
His funeral service will take place at West Wiltshire crematorium, Semington, on Tuesday at 2.30pm followed by a wake at Kington St Michael Working Men’s Club at 3.30pm.
