A celebrity chef enjoyed holidaying in Warminster so much that he has returned two years later to open his own restaurant.
Italian-born Aldo Zilli, who has appeared on TV in Good Food Live and Celebrity Fit Club, was at Center Parcs in Longleat last Friday night to launch his new venture, The Zilli Café.
Situated in the Aqua Sana spa building, the restaurant, offers a healthy menu of fresh fish, salad and pasta, and is part of Center Parcs’ £14 million investment in its restaurants and bars across all four villages over the last two years. Mr Zilli took his family to the Warminster-based holiday park two years ago, and he said: “I like it here. It is a very energetic place and I think it has got everything possible for the family to enjoy.
“We are using lots of Wiltshire ingredients – that is the main thing about this place. The chefs are all from here too so they know where to get the ingredients from.”
The Zilli Café, with its bright blue and white decor, is open to holiday park residents and people on pre-booked visits to the spa.
