Families in Westbury can find out how to lead healthier lives when a national course comes to the town.
The Mind, Exercise, Nutrition...Do it! programme is giving a free taster session at Bitham Brook Primary School in Arundell Close, Westbury, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday before a 10 week course in June.
The programme is aimed at overweight seven to 13-year-old children.
MEND has already run more than 300 courses in the UK, which have helped 10,000 families improve their diets and activity levels.
A limited number of spaces on the course are free of charge thanks to Lottery funding.
Caroline Newman, MEND Programme manager for the Westbury programme, said: “The open session is a great opportunity for families to drop in and find out all about the programme and hear some great success stories.
“The MEND programme shows families ways to make practical, positive changes to what they eat and get fitter and more active whilst having lots of fun - what’s more, it really works.”
