A church in Melksham is holding a flower festival with the theme 'Helping Hands' over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
The festival at St Michael’s Church in Canon Square will begin with a preview evening on Friday, May 22 at 6.30pm and will include flowers arranged by Melksham Flower Arranging Club. There will also be several organists playing at various intervals throughout the weekend.
A Musical Medley concert will be held in the church at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 23 and the Sunday service, which starts at 10am on May 24, is being taken by Bishop Bill who is a familiar figure through the BBC2 series a Seaside Parish.
Entrance is by donation, and there will be refreshments available during the interval.
The church will be open 10am to 5pm on the Saturday and Monday, and 11:30am to 5pm on the Sunday.
