Young tycoons from John Bentley School in Calne triumphed in the Central Wiltshire area final of the Young Enterprise contest.
The nine 16 and 17-year-olds beat off competition from seven others to win the Wiltshire Times cup and progress to the county finals on May 18.
Judges at Devizes Town Hall were impressed by the John Bentley team, who christened their company It’s In The Bag, designing, manufacturing and selling environmentally-friendly handbags.
Runners-up were St Augustine School’s Entree team, who made and sold wooden door signs and third place went to a George Ward School team, Thread Shed, who printed and sold T-shirts.
