Dog & Fox took the lead on 20 minutes when Steve Roddy netted from 14 yards after Rangers failed to clear a corner, for Roddy it was his 31st goal of the season, but counted for nothing as Rangers were level on 30 minutes when Sam Gooding found the target for his seventh goal of the campaign.
Rangers took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to Marc Lanfear’s 27th goal of the season and that was how things stood at the break but on 65 minutes the Dog & Fox restored parity after Dan Fowler’s powerful pass to Steve Roddy was deflected in off a Rangers defender to level the scores.
The Dog & Fox had a couple of good chances to win it and when Steve Roddy hit the post late on they knew that it wasn’t going to be their day and a point was all they would get for their efforts.
