The homes are being built by Selwood Housing and will consist of five two-bedroom homes, two three bedroom homes and two two-bedroom apartments.
Building work is due to be completed by the end of next month.
Barry Hughes, chief executive of Selwood Housing, said: "We would like to hear from anyone with ties to Broughton Gifford who would like to live in one of these homes.
"We know that house prices in Broughton Gifford are unaffordable for many local people, and we would like to help strengthen and maintain the local community by giving local people the chance to stay in Broughton Gifford in affordable homes."
The village boasts two pubs, the Fox and the Bell on the Common, as well as a village green, which is used to host events like the Bonfire Night party.
