A sporting craze is coming to Westbury this spring and summer thanks to Government funding.
Indo Boarding is a new sport which uses a board that the user usually stands on with their left and right foot at opposite ends.
The key is to perform tricks while trying to stay balanced and remain on the board.
A 10-week course, funded by Wiltshire Council through the Sports Unlimited Project, will start at Leighton Recreation Centre in Wellhead Lane, Westbury, on Tuesday, May 19.
The course will run every Tuesday between 4pm and 5pm, and is for 11 to 19-year-olds.
Keith Brunsden, general manager at the centre, said “We are pleased that by working with Wiltshire Council we are able to provide this latest craze and offer something new to the local community.
“The funded programme means that we can offer this activity at an affordable rate and encourage young people to start and stay active”
