The seven people in Wiltshire suspected of having swine flu after returning from Mexico have been given the all clear, NHS Wiltshire has announced.
The results of mouth swabs on the seven people came back as negative.
The people concerned developed flu like symptoms after returning from Mexico and they were tested on Monday.
They were given the anti-viral drug Tamiflu as a precaution and advised to stay at home to stop the spread of the infection.
Another confirmed case of swine flu in the UK was confirmed today by the Health Protection Agency bringing the total number of people with the disease to nine. The latest case is an adult from the North West of England,.
The agency is conducting tests on a further 642 people.
More than 160 people in Mexico are suspected to have died from swine flu and a 23-month-old child in Texas has died from the disease.
