Green-fingered enthusiasts have the chance to join a gardening club at Wiltshire College Lackham.
The college is holding five workshops to give practical advice on important gardening issues with a ‘grow your own’ theme. The next one is on Friday, May 15, and is called, Improve your plant identification, led by Lackham grounds manager, Stan Rawlings.
This practical workshop will give gardeners the skills and knowledge to identify herbaceous plants, trees, shrubs and the gardener’s least favourite plant - the common garden weed, with ideas for eliminating them.
Attendees are asked to meet at Horticulture Workshop 10, Wiltshire College Lackham, at 1.45pm for 2pm.
The workshop costs £4 and includes refreshments, a prize draw ticket and lots of activities and information.
