Born: April 24, 1.46pm
Weight: 9lb 121oz
Parents: Tracey and Colin Booth, of Studley Rise, Trowbridge.
Despite indulging her cravings for bowls of custard, mum Tracey Booth admits it was not an easy pregnancy third time round.
However Mrs Booth, 33, gave birth to Emma in a short and trouble-free labour at Trowbridge birthing unit.
The teaching assistant at Grove Primary School said: “It wasn’t an easy pregnancy. I had symphysis pubis dysfunction (a pelvic condition) and I couldn’t walk with it.
“I am fine now; it is all back to normal. It has eased since I have given birth.
“During the pregnancy I kept wanting custard with bananas. I never really was that interested before but it is a good excuse to eat sweet food.”
Emma has two sisters Rachel, 11, and Laura, eight.
Mrs Booth said: “They absolutely adore her. They can’t do enough for her.
“My advice for any first-time mums would be to just enjoy the pregnancy. It goes quickly, it’s really surprising actually.”
Dad Colin has been caring for his wife and two children and is now looking forward to spending more time with his daughters.
He said: “I am a house husband at the moment. It is good; I quite enjoy it. It’s hard work, I’m not going to dismiss it, but it is nice to see them grow up whereas before I was working.”
