A panel of four MEP election candidates will face questions on climate change at a ‘Question Time’ event organised by Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon.
Chaired by Professor Geoff Hammond of the University of Bath, the event will take place in St Margaret’s Hall, Bradford on Avon, on Wednesday, May 13 starting at 7.30pm.
On the panel will be Giles Chichester (Con), Glyn Ford MEP (Lab), Ricky Knight (Green Party) and Graham Watson (Lib Dem).
Entry is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
Questions will be put by members of the public attending and will be chosen from those submitted to Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon by Sunday, May 10.
This can be via email to climatechampions@gmail.com or dropped off at Ex Libris bookshop, The Shambles.
This Question Time is during the run up to the Euro elections on June 4.
Jonathan Porritt, leading environmental campaigner and founder of Forum for the Future said: ‘Europe has an important role to play in tackling climate change and getting real progress at Copenhagen. Everyone should make their voice heard at the Euro-elections on June 4.”
