Students in Warminster have been polishing off their final nail art designs in preparation for a talons talent contest on Wednesday.
The Wiltshire College students, based in The Avenue, Warminster, were asked to create a complete image based around their chosen nail art design, as part of their NVQ Level 3 nail specialist course.
As a result, a rock chic with black, sparkly nails, and a bride dressed in a white gown, made from recycled carrier bags, flexing glamourous white talons, were among the eye-catching designs.
Jean Evans, centre manager at The Avenue, where the Wiltshire College course is based, said: “We have had some fantastic work with lots of detail. It really is brilliant.”
Another design focused on the theme of Kellogg’s cereals with a cockerel’s head, coco pops and a milk jug decorating individual nails.
The winning candidate will be announced next week.
