Two teenagers from Trowbridge have admitted robbing a 17-year-old boy in the town but deny using a knife.
The pair, aged 15 and 17, appeared at Swindon Crown Court yesterday.
Despite admitting robbery they will face a trial by judge to determine whether a knife was involved in the incident.
The boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted taking money from their victim on Thursday, May 22 last year.
Judge Mark Horton adjourned the case to Monday, June 1 when they will face a trial of issue.
