A hotel near Bradford on the Avon posed as a Peak District lodge as a theatre group held a photocall for its latest production.
Trowbridge Players is taking on the Norman Robbins murder mystery thriller “At the Sign of the Crippled Harlequin” for its latest show, which is due to start on Wednesday.
The cast were at the Woolley Grange Hotel for a pre-show photocall on Thursday night.
The story is set on a winter’s night at Peak Lodge, where guests arrive for a festive break.
The lodge was once named the Crippled Harlequin, after Jemmy Junkins - a music hall harlequin whose ghost still haunts the house.
The Lodge’s owners are struggling to make ends meet and the behaviour of some of the guests looks set to drive them to despair, especially when one goes missing.
Angela Giddings, who plays Pam Seaton, said; “This is a murder mystery of the good old fashioned kind, with twists and turns to keep you guessing.”
The production opens at the Arc Theatre in College Road on Wednesday, April 29 and runs untill Saturday, May 2.
Tickets are priced at £8 each or £6 for concessions.
