Bradford United v Semington Magpies
Helped by two errors by the Magpies' keeper Bradford deservedly took all three points with a 4-2 victory.
Shaun Jenkins seemed to misjudge the position of the goal post when Charlie Powell's tame shot crept into the bottom corner to give United the lead.
Stuart Barber equalised just before half time when he drove in a ball cut back from the goal line, but Bradford responded after the break with a fine headed goal by John Andrews.
They went further ahead when Mark Slade benefited from an identical goalkeeping error to the first and Jack Bottomley added a fourth.
Magpies fought back and Kelvin Lockwood scored with a soft header following poor defending at a free kick.
Freshford United v Trowbridge Town ‘A’
Trowbridge Town ‘A’ moved into ninth spot in the table and a point behind their hosts Freshford after securing a deserved 3-0 win.
Trowbridge held a 1-0 lead at the interval thanks to a goal from Lee Hayward.
The second period saw Freshford score an own goal to double Trowbridge’s advantage before a Kurt James shot rounded off the three-nil score line.
Lavington v The Deverills
The Deverills travelled to Lavington fresh from their 1-0 victory over Freshford in the Knockout Cup Final in mid week and still seemed to be suffering from the after match celebrations as they suffered a 6-1 defeat.
A Craig Campbell brace and a Myles Hickton goal gave Lavington a deserved 3-0 half time lead. Goal number four for Lavington came from Myles Hickton for his second of the match before The Deverills scored their consolation goal through Gary Lewis.
With The Deverills goal coming under constant pressure they conceded a further two goals, both being of the own goal variety in the last ten minute.
Seend United v Frome Town Sports
Seend United remain on course to retain their title after beating their nearest rivals at the start of play Frome Town Sports by a solitary goal scored by Chris Styles in the second half.
Westbury United ‘A’ v FC Northbridge
At Meadow Lane it was a clash of the bottom two as Westbury United ‘A’ played hosts to FC Northbridge.
A Maric Mitza brace secured a two-nil lead for Westbury at the interval.
Westbury came out looking for more goals in the second period and they were rewarded when another brace of goals, this time from Dave Castle as he made it four-nil.
Westbury had not finished in their search for more goal and by the time of the final whistle they had made it 6-0 with a further two goals from Adrian Chantry and Ashley Easton.
