Further to my previous letter regarding the printing of Conservative Party Local Literature outside the county, I would like to inform our readers that the Liberal Democrats have in their recent publication which dropped through my letterbox today pledged to fight for a fair deal for Wiltshire.
Indeed they are championing several local causes through the local MEP who does indeed have a successful record in Brussels and beyond.
On the back page, they would like our cash donations and our offers to help put up posters and deliver leaflets on their behalf in the community.
In return for this they reward local business in the area for who they represent by having their leaflet printed in Plymouth.
It is not a publication which my humble small business can undertake but I can think of at least two printing companies within five miles of County Hall who could have undertaken and printed the same job.
A fair deal – not.
