Wiltshire College is inviting local people and businesses to get involved in the Wiltshire Adult Learners Awards 2009 by nominating someone inspirational.
The new awards will recognise and celebrate adult learners’ inspirational success.
If you know someone whose approach to learning or remarkable achievements through learning is inspiring others, then nominate them for the Wiltshire Adult Learners Awards.
There are seven categories: Wiltshire Adult Apprentice of the Year, Wiltshire Adult Work Based Learner of the Year, Skills for Life Learner of the Year, Higher Education Learner of the Year, Wiltshire ITLC Learner of the Year, Wiltshire Senior Learner of the Year and Inspiring Others to Learn – Tutor Award.
All nominations will also be considered for the overall award of Wiltshire Adult Learner of the Year 2009, which is sponsored by Wiltshire Council.
Award winners will have stories that are outstanding, remarkable and inspirational and their story will motivate others to consider learning.
They will illustrate how learning as an adult can transform lives and achieved beyond their expectations.
