The trial of a 24-year-old man accused of attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend’s new partner has been delayed because of a suspected gas leak at Bristol Crown Court.
Alexander Conduit, of West Parade in Warminster, denies attempting to murder his ex girlfriend Zoe South’s partner, 28-year-old Vilam Basara, at her home in Woodland View, Dilton Marsh, in December.
Mr Basara was left with a serious neck injury and rushed to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment.
The trial had already been adjourned this morning due to a legal argument.
However, a suspected gas leak at about 2.30pm put an end to proceedings and the case is due to continue at Bristol Crown Court tomorrow.
