Residents of The Paddocks nursing home in Trowbridge are getting double the amount of chocolate this Easter after teenager Indya Few spent her pocket money on Easter eggs.
The 14-year-old John of Gaunt student bought the eggs as she thought residents were not getting an egg this year.
Indya, of Murray Road, whose mum Ella is a carer at the home said: “When I found out they were getting nests full of little eggs from the home as well and it had been a mistake, I was even happier that they are getting double the amount of chocolate, because it is something for them to look forward to.”
The home said it was a surprise for the residents and that they are going to receive their Easter gift at the weekend.
