Employees at a mobile phone call centre in Trowbridge have donated 500 chocolate eggs to the Salvation Army to hand out to local children this Easter.
The eggs were collected at Virgin Media’s headquarters on the White Horse Busienss Park, where live chickens were brought in and an Easter bonnet parade took place on Tuesday to mark the handover of the egss to charity.
Lisa Cogdell-Brown, Virgin Media’s charity champion for the south west, said: “Despite the current climate, our staff have been very kind-hearted and have collected and donated more eggs to local charities this year than ever before.
“The Salvation Army is a charity that we hold very close to our hearts and we hope to put a smile on the faces of a lot of local children this Sunday.”
