An eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a puncture wound to the stomach after an accident at a skatepark in Westbury.
The incident happened at Penleigh skatepark near Hackney Way, Westbury, at about 3pm on Friday.
A boy had come off his bike and fallen onto the handlebars causing an injury to his stomach.
The Wiltshire Air Ambulance arrived at the scene but it was decided the boy did not require to be taken to hospital by helicopter, and he was instead taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath by land ambulance.
