A SERIES of dance classes run by former Pan’s People legend Dee Dee Wilde have been such a success that more are planned around west Wiltshire.
Dee Dee’s Dance Club got off to a flying start at the beginning of March with weekly classes at West Ashton and Steeple Ashton village halls being packed to the rafters. Classes are low-impact and designed for even the most novice dancer.
Now Dee Dee, 62, is planning to run classes at the Civic Hall in Trowbridge and also Bradford on Avon.
She said: “The classes are going absolutely fantastically, they are such a success.
“The ladies I dance with are absolutely wonderful – they come with two left feet and they leave with a right and a left foot.
“They throw themselves about and really prove that you can be 60 but also sexy.”
The class at the Civic Hall is yet to be confirmed but is planned for either May 5 or 6 at 6pm and will cost the same as the other classes at £6.50.
