MORE than 50 children from the Grove Primary School in Trowbridge got to try out a brand new sport at Wiltshire College’s Trowbridge campus last Friday.
Youngsters in Year 5 tried their hand at Netby, a cross between netball and rugby devised by second year students from the college’s sports course.
The students visited Grove Primary School once a week for four weeks to teach the children the sport, culminating in a competition.
Sports lecturer Kevin Hyde said: “I wanted to provide realistic experiences for my students and they were all fantastic.”
