The funeral of Melksham father-of-three Owen Lewis will take place in Semington this morning.
Mr Lewis, 41, was found dead in his flat in Bath Road, Melksham, on Friday, March 20 at about 9.45am after his family were unable to contact him by phone.
His funeral service will take place at West Wiltshire Crematorium at 11.30am.
Donations are being collected for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Families Association (SSAFA) by Patrik Bewley, of DJ Bewley Funeral Directors in Bank Street, Melksham.
An inquest into Mr Lewis’ death was opened and adjourned on March 24.
Mr Lewis was a commited player, coach and former secretary of Beanacre Cricket Club and had three children; Chloe, 16, Rhys, 13, and Megan, five.
After serving in the army in his early life, he was employed as a heavy goods driver, but had found it very hard to find work over the past six months.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said a post mortem examination had not established the cause of Mr Lewis’ death.
They are now awaiting the results of toxicological tests, which could take weeks.
