The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was tasked to a woman thought to be having a stroke at West Wilts Trading Estate near Westbury yesterday afternoon.
The ambulance crew arrived at the scene at 12.25pm and the patient was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with possible bleeding on the brain.
An air ambulance crew was also tasked to help police find a vulnerable 13-year-old girl who had gone missing from a residential care home in Westbury yesterday evening at 7.20pm.
The child was located by police officers on the ground before running off on to waste land and was found by the helicopter at 7.35pm.
On the way back from this task the helicopter attended a crash on the A350 near the cement works.
The crash was between a motorcycle and a car and the motorcyclist was thought to have serious injuries initially but when he was checked over by paramedics, they found that the injuries were minor and he was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
