A 24-year-old man facing a charge of attempted murder in connection with a stabbing in Dilton Marsh near Westbury, will stand trial next month.
Alexander Conduit, of West Parade in Warminster, appeared before Bristol Crown Court this morning by videolink to hear his trial date set for the week beginning April 14, the day after Easter Monday.
Conduit denies attempting to murder 28-year-old Vilam Basara at a house in Woodland View in December.
Mr Basara was left with a serious neck injury and rushed to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment.
Conduit will remain in custody until the trial, which is expected to last between four and five days.
