Bradford United Reserves v Bratton

Bratton moved into 5th spot in Division Two after securing a 3-1 victory at Bradford United Reserves. By halftime Bratton had a comfortable 2-0 lead thanks to two goals from Dan Cox.

The start of the second half saw Bradford hit back as Ali Ayoub scored, but their joy was short lived as Alex Clarke scored to complete the 3-1 score line for Bratton some two minutes later.

Bromham Reserves v St Andrews Winsley

Bromham Reserves go out of contention for the Trowbridge and District Division Two title with a 5-1 home defeat against St Andrews Winsley.

Bromham did start the better side and soon went ahead after a neat finish from Freddie Paget.

St Andrews came back strongly however, and equalised through a strike from Jed Osborne, making the score 1-1 at half-time.

Bromham continued their pressure from the first half at the start of the second, but couldn't capitalise against the league leaders.

It got even worse for Bromham when Tom Giles volleyed in a quick counter-attack break with his left foot, putting the Saints ahead for the first time.

St Andrews then showed their fitness by raising the intensity of the match, and resultantly scored two more as Tom Giles and Jed Osborne both grabbed their second goals of the game.

Tom finished off his perfect, left-foot right-foot header, hat trick when he headed in on the final whistle, which rounded off an impressive 5-1 victory to St Andrews.

Heytesbury v Broughton FC

Broughton FC travelled to Heytesbury in third place in the table and left ninety minutes later still in third place knowing that they did their goal difference the world of good after securing a 6-2 win.

A Julian Putt brace was cancelled out by goals from Heytesbury’s Ori Francis and James Harper to make the score 2-2 at halftime.

Broughton then dominated the second half as they scored four unanswered goals through Andy Perrott (2), Chris Turk and Foso Gharban.

Trowbridge Wanderers v FC Courthouse

Trowbridge Wanderers remain in second place and ten points behind leaders St Andrews after this 6-1 win over FC Courthouse.

A first half double from Mark Johnson saw Wanderers go in at the interval two goals to the good.

The second period then saw Nigel Penelhum extend the lead to 3-0, before Scott Askew scored for Courthouse.

Trowbridge then went into overdrive to kill of Courthouse as they scored 3 quick goals from Sam Dawson, Joe Walker and Jake Wayman.
