Born: March 16 at 10pm Weight: 6lb 5oz Parents: Zoe and Leon Sears, of High Street, Steeple Ashton.
CHLOE is a second child for Zoe, 33, who works in the training department at Wiltshire Police headquarters in Devizes, and Leon, 35, a marine engineer in Bristol, and a little sister for two-year-old Emily May.
Mrs Sears said her pregnancy and the labour, in the pool at Trowbridge Birthing Centre, all went according to plan.
“It was very straight forward. I went into Trowbridge at about 8pm and she was born at 10pm,” she said.
“I had a water birth, the staff were brilliant. I was allowed to stay overnight and then go home because otherwise I could have been released at 1am, which isn’t a very sociable hour. They were very flexible.”
Her new daughter was born to the sound of Robbie Williams, whose music was playing on a CD in the room where the birthing pool was.
Little Emily May is enjoying the new addition to the family too.
“She is very excited, she keeps giving Chloe lots of big cuddles,” Mrs Sears said.
