A CAFE owner in Bradford on Avon is hoping she can lure new Wiltshire resident Robbie Williams into her venue by offering him a chance to sample her buns.
Grandmother Mo Bennie, 49, of Grannie Mo’s cafe off Frome Road, has set up an A-board near her tearooms on the bridge over the Kennet and Avon Canal, urging the pop star to come in and ‘sample her magnificent, magical buns’.
Miss Bennie said: “I have got this huge campaign to get him in here. I love Robbie.
“I’m hoping someone will tell him about the sign or he might see it if he is passing.”
The former Take That star has created a buzz around the county after he bought a luxury £7m mansion in Compton Bassett, near Calne, earlier this year.
Since then the 34-year-old has been spotted walking in Devizes and Swindon.
Miss Bennie now hopes the star will stop off in Bradford on Avon.
She said: “I have heard that he lives in Wiltshire and I thought it would be a good idea to have him come here.”
