A £2m deal has been struck between two housing associations over the sale of 46 affordable homes in Wiltshire and Somerset.
Selwood Housing in Trowbridge has taken over the homes from Coventry housing association Midland Heart.
The sale followed a tender process and consultation with tenants carried out by Midland Heart.
The deal includes 19 homes in Clothier Leaze, Trowbridge, and 15 in Berryfield Park, Melksham, as well as homes in Shepton Mallet and Evercreech.
Chair of Selwood Housing John Alford said: “The 12 homes in Shepton Mallet and Evercreech are Selwood Housing’s first family homes outside of Wiltshire.
“We are able to keep growing despite the credit crunch, thanks to our robust business plan and financial backing.”
