For the second week running these teams did battle and again the sun shone on a fine match.
The result may have been the same with a win for Castle Combe but their players knew they had been in a match.
Hard fought all the way from start to fnish the game was ultimately decided by two goals inside a minute mid way through the first half.
The first from a corner, which was met with a firm, well placed header, the second was really the result of the one moment of lax defending from Westbury all game.
To be fair the score at half time was probable a good reflection of the balance of the game, but Westbury had not given up.
The second half saw chances created at both ends and for a while Westbury got on top the game, with several chances in quick succession.
One of which saw Jimmy Bryant's ambitious lob just scrape over the cross bar.
It was not long after this however, and Westbury scored.
Some good passing (at last) in the middle of the pitch and the ball was played out to Jonny Tribick on the edge of the area one touch to control and an early shot wrong footed the keeper.
However, it was not getting late int he game and Combe knew that they only had to keep possession to maintin their lead.
They had a couple of further chances form free kicks just outside the box, but were not able to convert any of them.
