Alice, Natasha, Holly and Joshua plant up their coloured pots for Mother’s Day
Budding young gardeners were able to get some hands-on experience this week by planting flowers in pots for Mother’s Day.
The youngsters from St Michael’s Pre-school in Hilperton decorated pots donated by Avonfield Nurseries in Bradford on Avon as presents for their mums and spent Wednesday afternoon at the nurseries filling the pots with spring blooms.
Nursery boss James Vincent said: “It was good to see the youngsters learning how to pot up plants. They were so enthusiastic at getting their gifts ready for Sunday.”
