Four homes were raided in Trowbridge on Wednesday morning as police searched for evidence of drugs and money generated by crime.
Wiltshire Police had secured warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act as well as a court order under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
A house in Seymour Road, two flats in Langford Road and a house in Whaddon Lane, Hilperton, were swooped on simultaneously by a team of 23 officers from the priority crime team and others from across the district, at 8.15am.
Police seized materials used for cultivating cannabis from an outhouse in Langford Road and a woman was issued with a caution for possessing cannabis, which was found at one of the addresses.
Sergeant Jim Stannard, who was leading the raids, said officers were continuing to act on intelligence as it came in.
A police drugs dog called Sam was drafted in for the raids and searched each property to find any traces of drugs.
Sgt Stannard said: “From our point of view it is a good exercise using essential resources, such as our search trained officers and drugs dog.
“It shows we are about in the community and we are active when it comes to following up intelligence.
“We are constantly gathering intelligence and would encourage people to come forward with anything about drugs or drug use in their local areas.”
Anyone with any information about drug use can call police on 0845 408 7000.
