IT was a real family affair when Caroline Jayne Bye married Grant Blackman on January 3, for the couple’s daughter was among the bridesmaids and the bride’s son was the best man.
The bride is the only child of Phyllis and Basil Bye, of Biddestone, and the bridegroom is the only son of Marcia Blackman, of Chippenham.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a claret red dress and carried a bouquet of white roses.
Her bridesmaids were her two-year-old daughter Maddison and Kayleigh Ward and Keileigh Birkett, both the daughters of friends. All three wore ivory dresses and carried bouquets of red germini.
Samuel Bye, aged 12, was the best man.
After the ceremony and receptions at The Manor House Golf Club, Castle Combe, where they entertained 77 guests during the day and 160 in the evening, the couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Maldives.
