Paul Martin, the popular presenter from BBC 2’s Flog It, will be opening the new nature trail at Neston Park Farm Shop near Atworth next week.
The nature trail, which starts at the farm shop, runs through a small ancient woodland, past a pond, into a wild organic meadowland back to the farm shop next to a stream. The Seend-based presenter will be on hand to officially open the trail at 10.30am on March 19.
Lady Fuller, Neston Park Farm Shop’s owner, said: “We are delighted that Paul Martin will be able to open the new nature trail here at the farm shop. He is a valued customer and a keen lover of the countryside.
“The trail will give our visitors the chance for a stroll and the opportunity to see our animals and to learn about some of our work here on our organic farm.
“They will hopefully be able to spot some of the local native wildlife too.”
The 1km trail is free to visitors to the farm shop, and there will be an Easter Egg Hunt around the trail from Saturday, April 4 to Sunday, April 19.
The trail will be open during shop opening hours – 9am-5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
