Nearly £500 was raised by the Bradford on Avon Friends of Dorothy House Hospice at a fundraising event on Wednesday.
The event was held at the Bloomfield Hall in Winsley and combined a coffee morning with stalls selling a variety of goods.
Dorothy House fundraiser Yvonne Brunton said: “Lots of people came along and we were really delighted with the amount who did turn out.”
People also offered their assistance to the hospice and with future fundraising events.
Visitors were able to spend their money at a book stall, a wood-turning display, on plants from Avonfield Gardens and on gifts and accessories to support the hospice.
The hospice’s next major fundraiser is its Dotty Day on April 1, when firms, schools and clubs will all join in the fun.
