Major improvements to Westbury’s Market Place, which cost £370,000, have now been completed and will be launched on a special day with a French twist.
The project has made the Market Place more pedestrian-friendly, with car parking moved from the centre to the edges, planting more trees, new street furniture and space for a civic feature.
The new square will be launched on May 2, to coincide with Westbury’s twinning weekend with Château du Loir, and will include a French market, displays and children’s activities.
