PREMIER DIVISION: Weather permitting Pete Huntley and Lee Sanders' Potterne side are all set for their third match in eight days when they host bottom of the table Miller Sports on Devizes Town’s Nursteed Road ground tonight.
The match that kicks off at 7.30 should see the hosts pick up two more points in their bid to finish in the top two in their very first season in the top flight.
Potterne have already beaten their guests 8-0 when James Campbell top scored with a hat trick back in December.
Potterne who go into the game on the back of a 3-1 win over leaders Biddestone Social will be aiming for a fourth straight win which would be their 10th two pointer of the campaign will leapfrog the Dog & Fox Ashley into second place and move within one point of the pole sitters if as expected they get it.
Miller Sports are 10 points away from a position of safety and with just one win from their 15 outings to date are favourites for the drop and another defeat tonight would leave them on the brink of relegation to division one which might not be a bad thing for Tim Knight’s side who have battled courageously from day but have come up short on many occasions and a drop down might just give Knight the opportunity to rebuild his side.
