WITH a three goal advantage from the first leg, Frome travelled to Broughton with high hopes of an overall victory to kick start the remainder of their season into life, but their hosts had other ideas.

Seend United Reserves 4, St Andrews Winsley 7
ST ANDREWS Winsley turned around a 3-2 first leg defeat to progress with a fantastic 7-4 away victory against Seend United Reserves after extra-time.
It was Seend who had the early breakthrough when a decent finish from Lee Stevenson put them ahead, but St Andrews reacted and eventually got a deserved equaliser when Tom Giles slotted home a penalty a few minutes from half-time.
After the break, the away side put the pressure on and quickly went 3-1 in front, with an own goal and an accurate header from Dudley Philpott. Determined not to be beaten, Seend United showed some of their resilience from the first leg and soon scored two goals, from Ollie Gee and James Higdon, putting them ahead on aggregate.
Again St Andrews pressed and went ahead through a decent strike from Elliot Carris-Smith, but this was again quickly cancelled after a defensive mix-up let the home side score their fourth through Nic Groves. With time ticking away, Tom Giles drove into the box from deep and was fouled from behind resulting in another penalty. As Seend went down to ten players, Tom scored his second penalty making the game 5-4 and level over the two legs.
After a Seend penalty claim was turned down and St Andrews hit the bar, full-time was up and the game progressed into extra-time.
This time there was only one side in it and in the second half of extra-time, Elliot Carris-Smith scored two more goals to make up his hat-trick, which finally put St Andrews through 9-7 on aggregate.
