St Andrews Winsley are through to the next round of the E J Shanley and Son Limited-sponsored Division Two Cup.
They lost the second leg of their tie against visitors Trowbridge Wanderers 2-1, but went through 6-4 on aggregate.
Wanderers had a three goal deficit to overturn from the first leg, and began the game as the more attacking side. They were rewarded early on as a deep free kick sailed straight into the net after a defensive mix-up, Chris Hayter being credited with the goal. St Andrews came back into the game soon after with a terrific run and shot under the goalkeeper by Dudley Philpot.
Trowbridge Wanderers scored the only goal in the second period, which was a bullet strike by Rob Houkes from outside the box leaving the Saints keeper with no chance. The game stayed at 2-1 to Trowbridge but a 6-4 aggregate score in favour of St Andrews results in them progressing into the next round.
