An investigation is underway after the burglary of a woman's home in Trowbridge.
The woman, who has not been named, returned home after the late shift on November 28 to find her house on Brown Street in Trowbridge had been torn apart in a daylight burglary.
The burglary is believed to have taken place at some point between 2.30pm and 3.15pm, according to officers investigating the case, and the property was unoccupied at the time.
CCTV checks and house to house enquiries have been carried out and three men are now believed to have been involved.
Wiltshire Police are urging anyone who might have seen something suspicious on Brown Street or in the nearby area to get in touch.
"We are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Brown Street, Trowbridge," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
"The female resident returned from a late shift to find lights on within her property, and found a very messy search had been carried out.
