Almost 10,000 people gathered at Warminster High Street this Christmas for a night of live music, VIP guests and Christmas lights.
The Warminster Christmas Celebrations took to the town on Saturday, November 30, and this year saw performances from the Rock Choir, led by Emma Web, a Freddie Mercury tribute act and local band Brakelight.
The event closed the High Street, Market Place and Weymouth Street to vehicles as more than 100 stalls lined the streets selling an assortment of food, drinks, crafts and gifts.
Special guests included Ceawlin and Emma Thynn, the Marquess and Marchioness of Bath who visited Warminster to help switch on the lights with Town Mayor Stacie Allensby and Father Christmas himself.
"The Warminster Christmas celebrations and lights switch on is set to be the shopping highlight of the year," said the mayor ahead of the event.
"It is so exciting to have a record number of stalls attending as an exciting entertainment schedule.
"We are delighted once again to be working alongside the Warminster Business Network to put on this incredible event that involves even mote of Warminster than ever before”
The 2024 event was so popular that the Town Council Clerk estimated close to 10,000 visitors who attended throughout the day and evening.
