Concern has been expressed about the deteriorating state of premises formerly occupied by a Turkish kebab outlet in Trowbridge.
The premises at 53 Fore Street were once used by the Diyar BBQ Grill restaurant and takeaway which has been permanently closed for several months.
A passerby, Jose Gonvales, said: “It seems this business has been abandoned for approximately five months.
“The interior is in a bad state with what looks like a flooded ceiling or a collapsed ceiling.
“Piles of post can be seen mounting up as nobody is regularly checking the property in Trowbridge, a former Turkish kebab shop.
“There's evidence of wiring being pulled out everywhere inside the shop.”

The Wiltshire Times has attempted to contact the leasehold owner of the business but has so far received no response.
The Food Standards Agency gave Diyar BBQ Grill a score of five and a ‘very good’ rating at its most recent inspection in December 2023.
It is not known why the owner of the business abandoned the property, which is now partially covered by scaffolding.
