Businesses in Wiltshire that have been affected by this week’s floods have been urged to contact the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub.

The hub – which is run by Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership -  is collecting information and data from affected companies.

Businesses in Bradford on Avon, Chippenham, and the surrounding areas were impacted by the recent severe flooding caused by Storm Bert over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, November 23 and 24.

In a post on its website, the Growth Hub said: “Wiltshire Council is committed to supporting the local business community following the severe flooding caused by Storm Bert, which affected Chippenham, Bradford on Avon and other areas across the county.

“To monitor the extent of the damage and understand the specific needs of businesses, the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub will be collecting information and data from affected companies.

“This initiative will help ensure the council and its partners are well-informed and able to provide targeted assistance should support become available.”
