Wiltshire Council have issued an update on the flood warnings throughout Wiltshire in the aftermath of Storm Bert.
As of this morning, there were 21 flood warnings (flooding is expected) and 23 flood alerts (flooding is possible) in place across the county.
The places where a flood warning is still in place include Chippenham, Melksham, Bradford on Avon, Malmesbury and Semington.
It is anticipated that flood water and river levels in the most affected areas will recede over the next 12 to 24 hours, despite some outbreaks of rain being expected this evening.
A spokesperson for the council said: "There continues to be numerous flooding issues in Wiltshire following the aftermath of Storm Bert and our teams are working hard throughout the county to provide support.
"Please take care on the roads and drive to the conditions. Remain vigilant of surface water and do not attempt to drive through any floodwater.
"It is advised to plan your route and allow extra time for your journey."
The council has also reminded the public that this is a changing situation to check regularly for updates on flood warnings and road closures.
Council buildings affected by the flooding in Chippenham have begun to re-open, with the Chippenham Registration Office re-opening later today.
