Footage has shown the extent of flooding in a Wiltshire town centre closed off after heavy downpours.
Following severe wet weather over the weekend when Storm Bert battered the county, St Margaret’s Street through Bradford on Avon has been closed off due to flooding.
Water levels are high on the River Avon at the Town Bridge and flooding has occurred at the Bull Pit and the junction of Silver Street and Market Street.
Flooding has also hit St Margaret Street just before the Town Bridge where the river has burst its banks.

Overhead footage has shown the disruption caused by these flood waters, with drivers spotted trying to navigate the submerged town centre.
Wiltshire Council says it is working hard to tackle disruption caused by the storm.
A spokesperson added: “Our teams are still working hard to clear debris, blockages and fallen trees on our road networks caused by Storm Bert.
“Keep an eye on local Facebook groups as these will often provide the most useful information around localised flooding that we might not be aware of.”
