Police are preparing for a fight between two groups of youths from two Wiltshire towns that they believe has been planned for the weekend.

The fight between two groups from Chippenham and Calne supposed to be happening in Calne this weekend, November 23 and 24, is being “taken very seriously” by police.

No more details are specified but Wiltshire Police says it will be in the area to monitor and respond to incidents.

“Open communication is key—please talk to your children about the potential consequences of participating in such behaviour and encourage them to make responsible decisions.

“Our aim is to prevent any harm and maintain a safe environment for everyone in our towns.
